I’ve spent my life learning to see what others miss. Long before picking up a camera, my background in the Canadian Armed Forces with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry taught me to observe, anticipate, adapt, and execute. From airborne operations and reconnaissance to close-quarters combat and tactical instruction, I developed a mindset built around precision, discipline, and understanding the bigger picture. That mindset has followed me through a career spanning entrepreneurship, professional sports, film, music, entertainment, and international business. My experience includes working within the NBA and professional boxing, including United Boxing Promotions, as well as the Vegas Film Festival, where I was involved in logistical oversight, interviewing filmmakers and actors, and capturing both live events and the moments behind the scenes. As a former professional boxer and boxing official, I bring a firsthand understanding of the intensity, preparation, and emotion behind combat sports — something that translates naturally into my work behind the lens. Beyond the camera, I’ve owned and operated a music festival, worked extensively throughout the music and entertainment industries, and managed resorts in Costa Rica. These experiences have given me an appreciation for both the creative and business sides of production, from logistics and operations to branding, marketing, and audience engagement. I don’t just capture what’s happening. I understand what it takes to make it happen. I founded Vantage Point Creative to bring those experiences together, combining technical expertise, creative vision, and entrepreneurial thinking to produce work that goes beyond traditional photography and cinematography. Whether I’m ringside at a championship fight, behind the scenes at a major event, or developing a creative campaign, I’m drawn to the moments that carry genuine emotion, energy, and purpose. The details others overlook. The reactions nobody anticipates. The stories happening outside the spotlight. My approach is simple: surround yourself with talented people, recognize their strengths, understand the objective, and execute with precision. It’s a team-first philosophy rooted in my military background and carried into every venture I’ve pursued. I’m not interested in creating content simply to fill a screen.
